GUEST OVERVIEW: Theo de Jager is a fruit and timber farmer in the Limpopo Lowveld. He is chairman of the boards of the family farmers network Saai and of Agri All Africa. He was the president of the World Farmers Organisation, the Pan African Farmers Organisation and the Southern African Confederation of Agricultural Unions, and leads up the negotiations between Zimbabwe's farmers and their government on compensation.
