GUEST 2 OVERVIEW: Dr Alan Moran is Principal of Regulation Economics. is a noted economist who has analysed and written extensively from a free market perspective. Regulation Economics and associated organisations offer analysis and advice on a range of public policy issues where business and government interact. Dr Alan Moran was the Director of the Deregulation Unit at the Institute of Public Affairs from 1996 until 2014. He was previously a senior official in Australia’s Productivity Commission and Director of the Commonwealth’s Office of Regulation Review. Subsequently, he played a leading role in the development of energy policy and competition policy review as the Deputy Secretary (Energy) in the Victorian Government. Dr Moran has published extensively on regulatory issues, particularly focusing on environmental issues, housing, network industries, and electricity and gas market matters. Alan was educated in the UK and has a PhD in transport economics from the University of Liverpool and degrees from the University of Salford and the London School of Economics.

On today's show Dr Peter Ridd discusses the latest IPCC report which calls for more action to protect the Great Barrier Reef, and Peter Richards talks about the Australian government's insane position on Ukraine.
GUEST 1 OVERVIEW: Dr Peter Ridd is a geophysicist with over 100 publications and 35 years’ experience working on the Great Barrier Reef and developed a wide range of world-first optical and electronic instruments for measuring environmental conditions near corals and other ecosystems. He was head of Physics at James Cook University for over a decade before being fired, in 2018, for questioning the quality assurance systems used by reef science institutions. Some of the poor-quality work relates to the effect, or lack of effect, of climate change, and agriculture, on the reef. Dr Ridd now works, unpaid, with agricultural organisations, and the Institute of Public Affairs to improve quality assurance systems of “science” used by Australian governments to make environmental laws and regulations.

GUEST 2 OVERVIEW: Belinda Bernardini has worked in property departments of city law firms for 15 years before opening her own business in the Melbourne suburb of Croydon and later Lilydale. Her conveyancing business has been operating since 2009. Belinda started My Place Yarra Valley in June last year to reconnect people in the Yarra Valley community after many were isolated under the draconian COVID restrictions of Premier Daniel Andrews. Belinda has done extensive research into the 20-minute neighbourhood concept and has prepared presentations on the subject to educate the My Place Community.

GUEST 1 OVERVIEW: John McBride grew up in an active Labor Party family. He gave up on the ALP after Keating’s last term, which was too woke for him. John joined the Democratic Labour Party in the early 2000s, a party which were at least ideologically opposed to the cultural Marxists. He worked for a few years as a Parliamentary Advisor in the Victorian Legislative Council for a DLP member. More recently, John ran as a candidate for the Freedom Party for the federal Senate in 2022 to support Damien Richardson’s candidacy to be above the line on the ballot. John is currently working on a documentary about Ivermectin.
GUEST 2 OVERVIEW: David McBride is an Australian whistleblower. In 2011 and 2013, he served in Afghanistan as a military lawyer to the Royal Australian Regiment and Australian Special Forces. David McBride made information on war crimes committed by Australian soldiers in Afghanistan available to the ABC. If convicted of the charges against him, David McBride faces many years in prison.

GUEST 1 OVERVIEW: Barclay McGain is an economics research fellow at the Australian Taxpayers' Alliance living in Brisbane, Queensland. He is a frequent contributor to the Spectator, Caldron Pool and Quadrant magazine on topics relating to tax policy, government waste and industrial relations reform. Having been vegan for over 30 years and a shooter for most of them, Cameron is able to see through the propaganda on both sides.

GUEST 1 OVERVIEW: Rikkie-Lee Tyrrell is a member of the Victorian Legislative Council for the Pauline Hanson's One Nation party representing the Northern Victoria Region. She was elected in the 2022 Victorian state election. Prior to entering Parliament, Rikkie-Lee was a wife, mother and dairy farmer. She was inspired by a light switch moment to do with water legislation that pushed her into the political world. This is what prompted her to run for Parliament.
GUEST 2 OVERVIEW: Trevor Kitchen is a whistleblower who helped expose the so-called "Forex scandal" in 2013. He now faces extradition to Switzerland on a charge of "criminal libel" for labelling a banker "a parasite" in emails.

GUEST 2 OVERVIEW: Dr Paul Oosterhuis is an Australian anaesthetist with over thirty years' experience, including in critical care and resuscitation. He has been brought before the Medical Board of NSW for posting information on social media regarding COVID-19. His posts related to early treatment and prophylaxis, PCR tests, and risk-benefit calculations regarding COVID-19 vaccination and lockdowns. Dr Oosterhuis attended a Medical Board hearing on September 3rd, at which the Board suspended his registration. At his hearing, Dr Oosterhuis presented extensive evidence on the accuracy and defensibility of his social media posts, including their public interest value. The Board, however, declined to engage in any discussion regarding the evidence. Instead they enforced the ban on doctors contradicting the government, and suspended him without discussion.
