GUEST OVERVIEW: Dr Jay Bhattacharya is Professor of Health Policy at Stanford University and a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. His recent research focuses on the epidemiology of COVID, including the lethality of COVID infection and the effects of lockdown policies. Dr Bhattacharya studies the health and well-being of vulnerable populations, emphasising the role of government programs, biomedical innovation, and health policy. He is an author of the Great Barrington Declaration.
