Mike Zhao on The Reckoning with Timothy Shea - 08 November 2022

GUEST OVERVIEW: Mike Zhao grew up in communist China where citizens did not have the basic freedom to pursue their dreams. He is the author of Critical Race Theory and Woke Culture: America's Dangerous Repeat of China's Cultural Revolution, and he is the President of the Asian American Coalition for Education (AACE). Mike has galvanized Asian American communities since 2014 to support this historic lawsuit. In 2015, Mike and his colleagues at the Asian American Coalition for Education exposed the Ivy League’s racial discrimination against Asian Americans on the national stage — in their civil rights complaint against Harvard. After Zhao and others exposed the Democratic Party’s support of Affirmative Action, millions of Asian Americans switched their support to President Trump and the Republican party in 2016. Today, Mike’s organization AACE has become a national leader fighting affirmative action with 360 alliance partners nationwide.
