The first guest John spread a lot of misinformation relating to Indigenous people and our soldiers from WW1. No soldier received free land. The scheme at the time was either a loan ( which had to be repaid) or they could rent the land. It was open to all soldiers but they had to prove they could farm the land. Not everyone was successful. We also do recognise Indigenous peoples in our state Constitutions and have so for many years. Anzac Day is about mateship. Everyone was equal in the defence
