She is a sought-after speaker, a former model, and the author of several books, including Girl Perfect, More Beautiful Than You Know, Beautiful Lies, and 21 Myths (Even Good) Girls Believe about Sex. Strickland holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and a master’s degree in writing and literature. She lives with her husband and three children in Texas.
