On today's show, advocate/author Dr. Francine Bono-Neri talks about the recently released groundbreaking research study, NURSING STUDENTS’ KNOWLEDGE OF AND EXPOSURE TO HUMAN TRAFFICKING CONTENT IN UNDERGRADUATE CURRICULA.
GUEST OVERVIEW: Dr. Francine Bono-Neri, PhD, RN, APRN, PNP, has over 30 years of experience working with the pediatric population as a registered nurse and pediatric nurse practitioner. She currently serves as an academic nurse educator, health policy advocate, nurse researcher, and leader of numerous professional organizations. Always dedicated to serving others, Francine was awarded a Nassau County Legislature Citation for her extraordinary efforts in serving the students and members of her hometown community. Francine served as a Director-at-Large on the BOD for ANA-NY, is the immediate past-president of the Long Island Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP), and is the Co-founder and President of Nurses United Against Human Trafficking. https://www.nuaht.org/
