GUEST 1 OVERVIEW: Dr David Adler is a medical graduate of the University of NSW, where he also received the medical faculty prize for general proficiency and leadership. He is formerly the Deputy Medical Secretary of the Australian Medical Association, a role which provided his training ground in policy and advocacy. He has been responsible for significant features of health policy at both State and Federal levels. David is a columnist for the Spectator Australia magazine and a CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) speaker. He is on the advisory council of Advance Australia and was awarded life membership by the Medico-Legal Society of NSW. David writes frequently on political issues and provides commentary as an interview guest on radio and television. As President of the Australian Jewish Association, he is a popular speaker at many Jewish community events and is known to be outspoken on issues affecting the Jewish community and as an advocate for Israel.
