Barclay McGain & Cameron Blewett on The Damien Richardson Show - 16 March 2023

GUEST 1 OVERVIEW: Barclay McGain is an economics research fellow at the Australian Taxpayers' Alliance living in Brisbane, Queensland. He is a frequent contributor to the Spectator, Caldron Pool and Quadrant magazine on topics relating to tax policy, government waste and industrial relations reform. Barclay is currently studying a Bachelor of Economics at the University of Queensland majoring in Quantitative Methods. He was involved heavily with the ATA's campaign to decrease the Fuel Excise Tax (FET) which was ultimately implemented in the 2022 federal budget. In his spare time, he enjoys cricket, politics and navigating the ins and outs of cryptocurrency.

GUEST 2 OVERVIEW: Cameron Blewett is an avid blogger and podcaster, with his main focus being the host of The Fifth Estate podcast where he covers the events of the day, and talks about those things that the corporate press and politicians won't cover. Having followed conspiracy theories from the days of when it was a hobby rather a calling, Cameron has no problem supporting those that need to be supported, and also taking the wind out of the sails of those that are too ridiculous to be true. Having been vegan for over 30 years and a shooter for most of them, Cameron is able to see through the propaganda on both sides.
