He became aware of the disconnect between mainstream coverage of the Freedom Convoy and livestream and other posts of the protests as they were unfolding. In mid-November he flew to Ottawa for a week to attend public hearings of the Commission investigating the necessity of invoking the Emergencies Act. He lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.
