GUEST OVERVIEW: Dr Stephen Chavura teaches European and Australian history. He has published in numerous journals including History of European Ideas, Journal of Religious History, and Australian Journal of Political Science. His most recent (co-authored) books are The Forgotten Menzies: The World Picture of Australia’s Longest Serving Prime Minister (MUP, 2021) and Reason, Religion, and the Australian Polity: A Secular State? (Routledge, 2019). He is a contributor to The Australian and has also written for Spectator Australia and ABC Religion and Ethics and his co-authored book on Menzies was listed in the Sydney Morning Herald’s as one of the ‘Most Anticipated Books of 2021’.

GUEST OVERVIEW: Rev. Dr. Timothy Gahles (Fr Lazarus) is an Eastern Orthodox Priest who currently works as a Bereavement Counselor for Hospice. A former Wall Street Trader at the NYSE, Dr. Gahles left that life to follow his calling to help people after having been through 9-11 and having lost a lot of friends. He is married with six children (And still sane!) and lives in the US. Dr. Gahles has a Bachelors in Theology and Counseling, a Masters in Theology and Counseling, and a Doctorate in Ministry having studied under Dr. John Behr a Patristic Scholar and Orthodox Priest from Oxford University. Dr Gahles is also a Certified BioEthicist in end of life care from the National Catholic BioEthics Center in Philadelphia, Pa.

GUEST OVERVIEW: Vicki is a 46yr old wife, mother daughter and active member of her community. In 2015 Vicki was diagnosed with dilated Cardiomyopathy. Her condition has deteiorated and she is currently being denied lifesaving medical treatment because she is refusing to take a jab that would potentially be detrimental to her already complex medical situation. This is despite her ATAGI approved exemption in which the hospital is refusing to acknowledge or honour. Vicki's situation raises ethical and moral issues that touches everyone and makes us question who owns our bodies and what is the right to be a Human?

GUEST OVERVIEW: Monica Smit is organiser for the Global Walk Out and head of Reignite Freedom. Monica is the founder of activist groups Reignite Democracy Australia which opposes the Victorian government’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as Reignite Freedom and the Global Walk Out campaign. Monica was arrested in 2021, detained and charged for allegedly inciting people to attend anti-lockdown protests. She spent twenty-two days in solitary confinement for refusing to sign the draconian bail conditions.

GUEST OVERVIEW: Barnaby Joyce is an Australian politician, former Deputy Prime Minister and former leader of The Nationals party. Originally a Senator, he served for 8 years and then resigned from the Senate in 2013 to contest the Federal Seat of New England. Barnaby's passion for rural and regional Australians, which has earned respect from both sides of the political divide, drives his advocacy. Joyce was elected to head The Nationals Senate team in Queensland in 2004 and, in 2009, was elected to the role of The Nationals Leader in The Senate. Following the election of the Coalition to Government in September 2013, Joyce was appointed Federal Minister for Agriculture and Deputy Leader of The Nationals. In February 2016, he was elected unopposed as Leader of The Nationals and was sworn in as Deputy Prime Minister. He stepped down from his ministerial positions in Cabinet in February 2018 but, on 21 June 2021, was re-elected as the Leader of the Nationals, becoming Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development.
