GUEST OVERVIEW: Guy Crittenden is a Canadian journalist and author. Crittenden enjoyed a 25-year career as the editor for two business magazines he co-founded directed to the pollution control and waste management and recycling industries where he won an unmatched 14 Kenneth R. Wilson Awards for excellence in business journalism. After a life-changing trip to Peru in 2013 he wrote a book about his experiences with shamanic visionary plants entitled The Year of Drinking Magic: Twelve Ceremonies with the Vine of Souls that won the Silver Medal in its category at the 2018 Independent Book Publisher Awards. In addition to freelance writing and book editing, Crittenden is a regular contributor to Druthers newspaper — a volunteer-funded protest publication over six million copies of which have been distributed to Canadian households, bringing them the truth about COVID and what Crittenden describes as an unfolding international corporate coup d’état.

Following their news story for CBS, they produced a PBS documentary and returned to Kabul for ABC Nightline in 1983. In 2002 they filmed and produced a documentary about Sima Wali, Afghan human rights expert, and her first return to Kabul since her exile in 1978.
