GUEST OVERVIEW: Phoebe Moncur was once a strong liberal and she now feels lost in the political system as a farmer she sees where we’re heading financially and what the destruction of the climate policy is doing to our country. Phoebe says the economy is heading into a downturn and under attack by woke ideology and she wants to diversify her farms. She has recently joined forces with other farmer's wives to create the Farmers Wives farm gates and general store which will sell their local farm-produced and handmade products. Farmer's wives' aim is also to teach preserving, cooking, and growing. Phoebe says all those skills have been lost through the education system.

GUEST 1 OVERVIEW: Dr Alan Moran is Principal of Regulation Economics and a noted economist who has analysed and written extensively from a free market perspective. He was the Director of the Deregulation Unit at the Institute of Public Affairs from 1996 until 2014. He was previously a senior official in Australia’s Productivity Commission and Director of the Commonwealth’s Office of Regulation Review. Subsequently, he played a leading role in the development of energy policy and competition policy review as the Deputy Secretary (Energy) in the Victorian Government. Dr Moran has published extensively on regulatory issues, particularly focusing on environmental issues, housing, network industries, and electricity and gas market matters. Alan was educated in the UK and has a PhD in transport economics from the University of Liverpool and degrees from the University of Salford and the London School of Economics.
GUEST 2 OVERVIEW: Trung Luu is the State member for Liberal Party in the Western Metropolitan Region in Melbourne. Trung has lived in Sunshine North for two decades and is very dedicated to championing equality with better services and innovative infrastructure projects that will benefit the Western region. He arrived in Australia as a refugee in the late 70s from Vietnam after the fall of Saigon and is married with five young children. Trung was elected in the 2020 Local Government election and served as a ward Councillor at Brimbank City Council.

He has a long list of awards including the ICHCA Annual Award 1996, Sea trade Award 1997 (London), Cruise and Ferry Award 2003 (London), AUSMEPA Marine Environment Award 2006 (Sydney) and the Institute of Export – Export Hero of the Year 2008 (Australia). Stuart holds a Master of Philosophy (Naval Architecture) from Strathclyde University, Scotland, and was awarded an honorary doctorate in science from Strathclyde in 2014 for his services to the maritime Industry.

GUEST 1 OVERVIEW: Fr Chris Yates is a priest of the Catholic Apostolic Church in Australia, a branch of the Brazilian Catholic Church. Originally from Manchester, he was a Policeman for ten years in both rural Oxfordshire (see: Inspector Morse/Midsummer Murders) and in London (see: The Bill). Chris was a Church of England priest who trained in Oxford before coming to Australia in 2010. During his transition from Anglican to Catholic, he worked as a policy adviser to two Australian Senators. An occasional contributor to The Spectator Flat White, Chris has studied Theology and Philosophy. He has a keen interest in Politics and Economics from a philosophical point of view. Chris is married to Jennifer and they have five children between them.

GUEST 1 OVERVIEW: Regional council mayor Brian Hood may take unprecedented legal action to sue the creator of AI chatbot ChatGPT for defamation, after the program falsely claimed he was a guilty party in a foreign bribery scandal. Brian Hood, the mayor of Hepburn Shire Council, west of Melbourne, was recently alerted to the fact that ChatGPT, a chatbot designed to provide detailed responses to users' questions, had incorrectly described his role in a foreign bribery incident in the early 2000s.
