GUEST OVERVIEW: Dr Alka Sehgal Cuthbert is Director of Don't Divide Us - a grassroots campaign that seeks to ensure a common sense voice on race remains strong in public life. More recently DDU has focused on the need for impartiality in schools, especially when dealing with contested beliefs about race and racism. She has worked in education for over 26 years as a teacher, lecturer, and advisor. She is co-author of 'What Should Schools Teach? Disciplines, subjects and the pursuit of truth'.
