GUEST 1 OVERVIEW: Ms. Cleo Paskal is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow for the Indo-Pacific at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, Washington, D.C. She has testified before the U.S. Congress, regularly moderates/lectures for training seminars for the U.S. Military, and has taught at defense colleges in the United States, United Kingdom, India, Canada, and Oman. From 2006 to 2022, she was an Associate Fellow at Chatham House, London, where, among other responsibilities, she was the research lead on the multi-year futures project 'Perspectives on Strategic Shifts in the Indo-Pacific 2019-2024'. She is widely published in the academic and popular press and has written for (among many others): The Diplomat, Defense News, The Telegraph, South China Morning Post, The Australian, Japan Times, The World Today, and International Affairs, and is currently the North America Special Correspondent for The Sunday Guardian (India) newspaper.
GUEST 2 OVERVIEW: Katie Hopkins is an English media personality, columnist, far-right political commentator, and former businesswoman. She was a contestant on the third series of The Apprentice in 2007; following further appearances in the media, she became a columnist for the British national newspapers The Sun (2013–2015) and MailOnline (2015–2017). In 2015, she hosted her own television talk show If Katie Hopkins Ruled the World, and appeared on the fifteenth series of Celebrity Big Brother, finishing as runner-up. The following year, Hopkins became a presenter for the talk radio station LBC and underwent major brain surgery to treat her epilepsy. In 2021, she joined the UK Independence Party.
