GUEST OVERVIEW: David McBride is an Australian whistleblower. In 2011 and 2013, he served in Afghanistan as a military lawyer to the Royal Australian Regiment and Australian Special Forces. David McBride made information on war crimes committed by Australian soldiers in Afghanistan available to the ABC. If convicted of the charges against him, David McBride faces many years in prison.

GUEST 2 OVERVIEW: Dr Michael Jensen has been Rector of St Mark’s since 2013. Originally an English teacher, he taught Theology at Sydney’s Moore College. Michael likes to imagine himself one day getting fit, and loves British comedy and Eastern European food. Michael has written a number of books including ‘Between Tick and Tock’, ‘Is Forgiveness Really Free?’ and ‘My God, My God – Is it possible to believe anymore?’ Among other things, Michael is responsible for the vision of St Mark’s, for leading the staff team, and for the preaching programme. Michael also conducts a number of ministries outside of St Mark’s and is on the board for Publica; produces the With All Due Respects podcast; and can often be seen on ABC's The Drum.

GUEST OVERVIEW: Adam Creighton is an Australian journalist and the Washington correspondent for The Australian. He was previously the economics editor. He’s written for The Economist and The Wall Street Journal from London and Washington DC, and authored book chapters on superannuation for Oxford University Press. He started his career at the Reserve Bank of Australia and the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority. He holds a Bachelor of Economics with First Class Honours from the University of New South Wales, and Master of Philosophy in Economics from Balliol College, Oxford, where he was a Commonwealth Scholar.

GUEST 1 OVERVIEW: John Helmer is the longest continuously serving foreign correspondent in Russia, and the only western journalist to direct his own bureau independent of single national or commercial ties. He first set up his bureau in 1989, making him today the doyen of the foreign press corps in Russia. Born and educated in Australia, then at Harvard University, Helmer has also been a professor of political science, of sociology, and of journalism, and an advisor to government heads in Australia, Greece, the United States, and Sri Lanka. Today Helmer is one of the most widely read Russian specialists in the business world for his news-breaking stories on Russian base and precious metals, diamonds, mining, shipping, insurance, food trade, and business policy.

GUEST 1 OVERVIEW: John Ruddick grew up in Tamworth and then spent two years working on an outback farm. From 1991 to 1995 he studied history at the University of Sydney and then commenced as a staffer for Ross Cameron MP in the early days of the Howard Government. He had been active member of the NSW Liberal Party and championed democratic reform of that party. In 2018 he published Make the Liberal Party Great Again which was a blueprint on how to optimally democratised an Australian political party in the 21st century. In mid 2021 he joined the Liberal Democrats after his disappointed with the Morrison and Berejiklian governments and their over-reaction to COVID and the associated government debt. John has written op-eds for most of Australia's leading newspapers and has appeared frequently on Sky News and occasionally on ABC. John and his wife run a mortgage broking business.
GUEST 2 OVERVIEW: Lucy Hood was recently elected as the Member for Adelaide representing the South Australian Labor Party. Before entering politics as a candidate, Lucy was the Director of Policy for South Australian Labor Leader and now Premier, Peter Malinauskas MP. Prior to this, Lucy was raised in Naracoorte in the state’s south east and was the first in her family to go to university, moving to Adelaide to study Journalism. She later started her career at The Advertiser as a cadet journalist and went on to become Education Editor and Policy Desk Producer.
GUEST 3 OVERVIEW: Ben Hood was appointed a member of the South Australian Legislative Council in February 2023, representing the South Australian Liberal Party. He replaced retiring member Stephen Wade. Hood grew up in Naracoorte, is a director of a web and branding development agency. He co-created the children's character George the Farmer, which featured in a 2018 animated TV series developed with the South Australian Film Corporation.

GUEST 1 OVERVIEW: Damien Tudehope MLC served as the New South Wales Minister for Finance in the second Berejiklian and Perrottet ministries since April 2019. He is also the Minister for Employee Relations, the Vice-President of the Executive Council, and the Leader of the Government in the Legislative Council in the Perrottet ministry. Prior to being elected to the NSW Parliament Damien was a partner in the law firm O’Hara and Company, Solicitors. He worked for that firm for thirty years.
GUEST 2 OVERVIEW: Dr Phillip Altman is a well-known Australian authority on clinical trials and regulatory affairs with more than 40 years' experience working with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). More recently Dr Altman has presented to the Cross Party COVID Inquiry held in Brisbane and NZ in relation to the COVID injections. He is a candidate in the upcoming NSW State election.
GUEST 3 OVERVIEW: Millie Fontana is a 30 year old children’s rights advocate, activist, and political commentator based in Western Sydney NSW. As the daughter of a lesbian couple, Millie made an entrance into the political spotlight during the same-sex marriage debate and became the face of the ‘No’ campaign. Millie decided to run for the Liberal Democrats when the member for Sydney announced his Equality Omnibus bill. Millie opposes the bill, citing it as an attack on religion and parental rights. Millie also recognises an obvious fix to the NSW health crisis, determined to end vaccine mandates and get emergency service workers and other health professionals back to work.
